(First Date of Publications July 19, 1999)

1. Sealed tenders are invited by the  Air Transport Support Centre Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal for the supply and delivery of one DHC-6-300 Series Twin Otter aircraft from reputed manufacturers/suppliers or manufacturer's agent or representative or aircraft owners or their authorized representatives or agents.Along 
with the submission of sealed tender , the following documents shall be included:

a) Letter of the authorization from the owner of the aircraft
b) Proof of ownership
c) Certificate of registeration of aircraft

Only one propsal in each sealed tender shall be submitted.If second or alternate propsal is to be submitted, a separate bid bond and sealed tender is required.

2. The Tender Documents can be had from ATS Centre on any working day during working hours, 45 days from the first date of publication in The Rising Nepal on submission of voucher by depositing cash Rs. 2000.00 or US$ 30.00 at Revenue A/C No. 163601/055 Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, ATSC (NON-REFUNDABLE) at Nepal Rastra Bank, Kathmandu, Nepal.

3. Fully completed and sealed tenders must be submitted to address not later than 17:00 hrs, local time within 45 days from first date of publication in The Rising Nepal. Tenders or modification of tenders received after due date and time will not be considered. Tender through Telegrams, Telex, Fax etc. shall not be accepted.

4. TENDERS will be opened on the next day of the last date for submission at 12:00 hrs LT in Kathmandu.
In case, the last date of submission and opening of tenders as prescribed above be a holiday the same will automatically take place on the successive office working days.

5. Tenders must be enclosed in a sealed envelope clearly marked in capital letters as follows :

"RE-TENDER FOR SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF TWIN OTTER AIRCRAFT"

In cases where the Tender is being airfreighted/courriered from abroad, arrangements should be made by the Tenderer to clear Customs and deliver the documentation to the addresses. Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (ATSC) is not responsible for Customs clearance and delivery of Tenderer's submissions.

6. Tenders shall be supported by a tender-bond in the form of guarantee to the Nepalese Bank for tenders submitted in Nepal for an amount of US $ 50,000.00 (in words fifty thousand US Dollars)or equivalent in Nepalese Rupees towards earnest money valid for 90 days from the closing date for the submission of tenders.

7.The successful Tenderer , before signing the contract with the ATS Centre , shall submit a 5% of the bidding price in the form of bank gurantee of the nepalese Bank towards earnest money.The performence  bond will be released as soon as the contract is completed.

8.Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (ATSC) reserves all rights to reject all tenders or accept any tender in full or part thereof without assigning any reason whatsoever.
