Marks obtained in English are not included in the gross total for determining the ranking. The merit list is based on weightage of 80% to the percentage obtained in COMPEX 2003 and weightage of 20% to the percentage in class XII in the relevant
subjects. The allocation of seats will be according to merit.
The Embassy of India congratulates the successful candidates and
wishes them a pleasant stay and a satisfying educational experience in India. The non-inclusion of candidates in these merit lists is no reflection on the academic abilities of those candidates. As a large number of candidates took this examination, not all could be accommodated in the seats available. The Embassy hopes that those who could not get selected for these
courses will be able to pursue their area of interest in other reputed educational institutions of their choice.
