Indian Assistance Of Nrs.11.3 Million For School In Sunsari.

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed today between the Embassy of India, the District Development Committee, Sunsari and Shree Sharada Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Khanar, Sunsari regarding grant assistance of NRs. 1,13,32,248/- from Government of India. This assistance will fund the construction of the school building with boundary wall and drinking water supply for the Vidyalaya.

The project will be executed by the District Development Committee, Sunsari. An oversight committee consisting of the Chairman of School Management Committee, District Soldiers Board, PPO, Dharan, Social Worker and District Education Officer of the Sunsari District has been constituted to oversee the project and supervise and ensure proper utilisation of the grant assistance.

This assistance will strengthen the educational infrastructure of Sunsari district for the benefit of the local people.
