The Mobile Science Unit has been developed in India with the intention of carrying scientific phenomena to remote rural areas where sophisticated laboratory, techniques and facilities cannot be provided due to difficult terrain access.  It has been an extremely successful project touching the innate curiosity of youngsters to the wonders of science and tapping their potential.  As part of the bilateral programme of Scientific and Economic Cooperation between India and Nepal, the visit of this Exhibition Unit manifests the close understanding between two friendly neighbours in bringing the wonders of science from India to the young friends of Nepal.  Through this and other projects, Government of India reiterates its commitment to strengthen links of friendship with His Majesty’s Government of Nepal.
