The final of the first Independence Day Football Tournament, being organized at the Indian Embassy grounds by the Embassy, will be played between the teams of Hyatt Regency Hotel and Military Wing of the Embassy of India at 1500 hrs on Sunday, 5th August 2007. The Ambassador of India to Nepal Mr. S.S. Mukherjee will give away the prizes at the end of the match which is expected to last till 1645 hrs (regulation time).

All interested journalists are requested to attend and cover the final match and prize distribution.

The play off for the number 3 and 4 positions will take place between the teams of Security Wing and Chancery of the Embassy of India on Saturday, 4th August at 1500 hrs.
