PRESS RELEASE

On behalf of the Ambassador of India to Nepal, the Consul General of India in Birgunj Mr. C.G. Rao today handed over to the Central Coordinator, Office for Cantonment Management in the Home Ministry of the Government of Nepal, Mr. Sushil JB Rana, 70 containers for storing arms in accordance with the Comprehensive Peace Agreement signed on 21st November 2006.

The Government of India have borne all related costs in response to the request, received from the Government of Nepal in the last week of November 2006.
