Indian Assistance of NRs.7,93,500/- for Campion Kathmandu College, Kathmandu

Embassy of India handed over a cheque for NRs.7,39,500/- to the Students Council, Campion Kathmandu College on July 13, 2006 in the presence of teachers and students community of Campion Kathmandu College at a public gathering, for strengthening social and cultural activities of the council. Common social and cultural ethos between the two close neighbours is central to the history and civilizational thought that has influenced Nepal and India.

India’s commitment for the people of Nepal through such cooperation remains reinforced. Currently the bilateral cooperartion programme between the two countries is witnessing the realization of 142 projects in education, health and infrastructure sector in 61 districts of Nepal with an outlay of NRs. 1800 crores.
