Indian Ambassador gifts books to Sri Aurobindo Yoga Mandir Trust, Thankot, Kathmandu

Ambassador of India, Shri Shiv Shankar Mukherjee, gifted books to Sri Aurobindo Yoga Mandir Trust, Thankot, Kathmandu on May 2, 2006. The total cost of these books is NRs.57,436/-. These books will benefit the underprivileged children of the Yoga Mandir Trust.

As part of its commitment to strengthen educational infrastructure in Nepal under India-Nepal economic cooperation, apart from gifting books and other educational aids, the Government of India is undertaking and implementing 62 school projects in 29 different districts in Nepal. These school projects will be benefiting 64,000 students in Nepal directly.

India’s commitment in strengthening and diversifying bilateral relations with Nepal through economic cooperation in education, health and other infrastructure is steadfast and will further strengthen and diversify in the future.
