Indian Assistance of Nrs. 20.3 Million For Schools in Saptar

H.E. Shiv Shankar Mukherjee, Ambassador of India today laid the foundation stones of two school buildings in Saptari district viz;  Shree Janata Primary School, Belhi Chapena  and Shree Mahendra Bindeshwari Multiple Campus, Rajbiraj.  The Government of India will extend assistance of NRs. 6,98,139/- for construction to Shree Janata Primary School and NRs. 1,96,45,532/- for the construction of a girls' hostel to Shree Mahendra Bindeshwari Multiple Campus.

It is expected that the construction of educational infrastructure in the two schools will further expand the educational facilities in Saptari district and strengthen bonds of cooperation between India and Nepal.
