Nrs. 29.4 Million for Rautahat School

The Government of India has decided to extend financial assistance of NRs. 2,94,84,298/- to the Shree Juddha Secondary School, Gaur, Rautahat for the construction of a hostel, canteen and boundary wall. A Memorandum of Understanding to this effect has been signed between the Embassy of India, the District Development Committee, Rautahat and the School.

A Monitoring Committee has been constituted for the project consisting of the Chairman of the School, Engineer, DDC/DTO, and District Education Officer, Rautahat to oversee the project and supervise construction and utilization of the grant assistance.

The implementation of this project would go a long way in improving the educational infrastructure for the people of the district of Rautahat. It also reinforces India’s commitment to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, through such cooperation in the educational sector.
