Indian Assistance of Nrs.6 Million For Manakamana Water Supply Project

The Government of India has sanctioned assistance of NRs. 60,40,709/- for extension & rehabilitation of Manakamana Water Supply project in District Gorkha. A Memorandum of Understanding to this effect was signed today between the Embassy of India, District Development Committee, Gorkha and Manakamana Development Committee.

It is expected that the proposed water supply project will benefit the population of VDC Manakamana and the more than 5 lakhs pilgrims who visit the temple every year.
