INDIAN  ASSISTANCE  OF  NRS. 18.8  MILLIONFOR  MAHOTTARI  SCHOOL

 Foundation stone was laid today by Ambassador of India for the Shree Adarsh Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Ratauli in Mahottari district.  The Government of India will extend assistance of NRs. 1,88,31,217 /- for the construction of the school building, compound wall, science laboratory and library.  The school building will be called 'Nepal Bharat Maitri Bhavan'.

         The project will be executed by the District Development Committee, Mahottari.  An oversight committee  consisting of the Chairperson of School Management committee, Former Chairman of Village Development Committee, District Education Officer and District Technical Officer of the Mahottari District will oversee the project and supervise  and ensure proper utilisation of the grant assistance.

 The project reflects India's commitment to strengthen people to people relations through such cooperation, especially in the important sector of education
