A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed today between the Embassy of India, the District Development Committee, Saptari and Shree Janata Rameshwar Memorial Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Brahampur, Saptari. A total of NRs. 39,77,012/- will be given by Government of India for the construction of School building.
Monitoring Committee has been constituted for the project consisting of the Coordinator, School Management Committee, Engineer, DDC/DTO, Saptari, Social Worker, District Saptari and District Education Officer, Saptari to oversee the project and supervise construction and ensure proper utilization of the grant assistance.
The implementation of this project would go a long way in improving the educational infrastructure for the people of the district of Saptari where the Government of India is already undertaking three education and infrastructure projects rehabilitation of Fatehpur-Kunauli road, Rajbiraj, construction of school building of Shree Janata Primary School, Belhi Chapena and construction of girls’ hostel of Shree Mahendra Bindeswari Multiple Campus, Rajbiraj, Saptari. Through these projects and the present project of construction of school building in Brahampur, Saptari, India’s commitment to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries by cooperation in the critical sector of education is reinforced.
