Indian Embassy Vs Nepalese Media Cricket match

The 3^rd Annual Indian Embassy Vs Nepalese Media friendly Cricket Match was played today at the Indian Embassy ground.  The Indian Embassy team was led by Colonel Shokin Chauhan, Defence Attache.  The Nepalese Media team was led by Mr. Sohan Shrestha.  The Indian Embassy team won this fun-filled match third time in a row.

     Nepalese Media team won the toss and elected to bat.  They scored 161 runs for 6 wickets in allotted 20 overs.  In reply, the Embassy team scored 164 runs for one wicket in just 14.3 overs.  Embassy player Amit Kumar scored 91 runs (not out) with 6 boundaries and 8 huge sixes and was declared Man of the Match.  Manjeet Singh of Indian Embassy scored 43 (not out).  Sanjay Kannoth of Embassy team and Diwakar Gawali of Nepalese media team were declared Best Bowler and Best Batsman respectively.
