Indian Assistance of Nrs.29.72 Million for Fatehpur-Kunauli Road

The Government of India has sanctioned assistance of NRs. 2,97,22,397/- for rehabilitation of Fatehpur-Kunauli Road Phase-II in Saptari District. A Memorandum of Understanding to this effect was signed today between the Embassy of India and District Development Committee, Saptari. The proposed road is expected to benefit more than 34, 000 people living in eight VDCs namely Barrain (Koiladi), Koiladi, Sakarpura, Malhaniya, Tilathi Gobeergadha, Inarwa,  Hanumannagar & Kunauli  in District Saptari.

The implementation of this project would go a long way in improving the social and economic conditions of the people of Saptari.
