INDIAN ASSISTANCE FOR COSTRUCTION OF GALLERY AND BOUNDARY WALL OF THE NEPAL ART COUNCIL, KATHMANDUL.

For all art lovers, the renovation and expansion of Nepal Art Council(NAC) is good news. A grant assistance of NRs.48,41,913/- from Government of India will help the NAC acquire a larger gallery and a boundary wall.

The NAC is an important venue for high quality exhibitions. In recent times, the famous exhibition called "Ajanta: The Unseen Jewel" from India was set up displaying the timeless paintings of Ajanta. It was appreciated by the art lovers of Kathmandu. NAC's library of specialised books gifted by Government of India is heavily utilised by local art connoisseurs.

The project to be executed by Kathmandu Metropolitan City Office, will add to Nepal Art Council's standing, as a premier focal point for art lovers in Nepal.
