On the occasion of the 62nd Independence Day of India, the Ambassador of India will unfurl the National Flag in a ceremony to be held at Embassy of India ground, Lainchour on Friday, 15th August 2008 (31 Shrawan 2065) at 9 a.m. sharp. As in previous years, the Ambassador will present ambulances, buses and books and other study material to various Nepali organizations on the occasion. The ceremony will also be marked by a brief cultural programme by the students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kathmandu.
